Nyameba has been with us for 2 years now, taking part in our elite sessions, representing Starplayer in tournaments and friendlies, and being a consistent member of our 1-to-1 programme. During this time, he has worked closely with Coach Zola, Coach Samurai and Coach Neo, showing outstanding commitment, discipline and hunger to improve. Coach Zola has played a key role in developing Nyamebas technical ability in tight spaces, his confidence as a ball carrier, and his long-range passing. The progress has been clear for everyone to see. Carter Porter has been with us since grassroots, when he came to us he worked with Coach Diop and focused on sharpening his technical skills and building his assertiveness on the pitch. Through consistent training, he grew more aggressive and confident. Ultimately, he achieved his dream by signing with Southampton’s academy, where he’s thrived for over a year and continues to excel.
JJ undertook 1-to-1 coaching with Starplayer for a 9-month period under Coach Neo. During this time, he developed tremendously, particularly in his technical ability and overall application to the game. One key area identified early on was his intensity, which JJ worked hard to improve. This became a standout part of his development, significantly raising his performance levels. His commitment and growth were rewarded when he went on to sign for AFC Bournemouth Academy.
Rocco represented Starplayer across numerous tournaments over a two-year period. From the moment he joined, his potential was clear, but his development accelerated with every competition he played. His regular attendance at Starplayer camps played a major role in improving his game understanding, decision-making, and consistency. Tournament by tournament, Rocco continued to raise his level and stand out.
David was a physically dominant striker who initially lacked technical refinement. Over a 9-month period, training twice per week with Coach Samurai and Coach Diop, significant progress was made in his technical game. He developed into a more complete forward, capable not only of scoring goals but also assisting teammates and contributing in multiple phases of play. This transformation played a key role in him signing for Portsmouth FC Academy.
Archie has been part of Starplayer for over three years and is widely regarded as one of the most complete players to come through the programme. There are very few aspects of the game he does not excel in. Coached by Coach Neo, Archie developed into a true all-round forward. He represented Starplayer in every tournament entered, winning several along the way and finishing as top goal scorer on multiple occasions. His consistency, mentality, and elite level of performance were rewarded when he went on to sign for Watford FC Academy.
